SUNDAY 3/24/19 ONLY, we meet at 8pm (Hawaii time) as we are honored to have John Schlapobersky join us from England. The purpose of this workshop/discussion group is to increase participants’ effectiveness as therapists and group leaders, by increasing the therapeutic quality of their sessions and groups. The format provides an in-depth study of the book From the Couch to the Circle (available at amazon.com) and includes both self-reflective and didactic discussion of group and personal experience. This book has been acclaimed as the next great group psychotherapy text after Yalom’s well known The Theory and Practice of Group Psychotherapy. Author John Schlapobersky has generously offered to join us when possible.
